English painting steps
- Background: Prepare clean brush-rinsing water and paper towels. Base-coat the sky, clouds and butterfly with #1 using a large brush.
- Background texture: With a small brush, use #1 + #2 (3:1) in short dotted strokes in the upper background. Use #2 and #1 + #2 (1:1) for the lower background.
- Stars and nebula: Paint the stars, nebula and halo with #3 using a large brush. Add #4 in short dotted strokes following the relief texture.
- Cat: Base-coat the cat with #4. Mix #4 and #5 (1:1) for blush and inner ears.
- Face: With a small brush, use #2 for eyebrows, eye base and eyeliner; #5 for nose, mouth, envelope and paw pads.
- Eyes: Use #1 for the glow at the bottom of the eyes, #4 for the stars inside them and #3 for points of light.
- Butterfly and sparkle: Enrich the butterfly wings with #3. Add #6 glitter crystal to the cat's eyes and butterfly wings.
- Cloud highlights: Paint the lit sides of the clouds with #4 using a large brush.
