English painting steps
- Background gradient: Prepare the kit, rinsing water and paper towels. With a large brush, use #1 for the upper-right background and #2 for the pink background. Add a little #3 at the join to blend a natural gradient.
- Fallen petals texture: Mix #2 with quartz sand (1:1). With a large brush, create a mottled fallen-petal texture at the bottom.
- Stencil A leaves: Remove the leaf shapes from stencil A and align it with the board. Fill the openings with #1 + quartz sand (1:1). Let dry fully; the tutorial also demonstrates a hair dryer.
- Stencil B stems and leaves: Remove the stem and leaf shapes from stencil B and align it with the board. Fill them with #5 + quartz sand (1:1). Let dry before continuing.
- Attach tulips: Glue the relief tulip flowers in position.
- Flower colors: After the glue dries, paint the dark flower areas with #4 and the lighter areas with #2 using a large brush. Once the paint dries, sweep #6 pearlescent white over the highlights.
