English painting steps
- Paper base: Prepare the kit, rinsing water and paper towels. Glue the Dongba paper to the board, aligning the edges and pressing it flat.
- Background: Paint an even background coat of #2 with a large brush. Let dry before continuing.
- Piping mixture: Mix the entire jar of #1 with quartz sand (1:1) using a palette knife. Put the mixture in the piping bag.
- Small flowers and leaves: Remove the small flowers and leaves from the stencil and align it with the board. Cut a 4 mm opening at the piping bag tip. Pipe paint into the openings, shaping with a brush if needed. Let dry fully; the tutorial also demonstrates a hair dryer.
- Main stems and leaves: Mix #4 with quartz sand (1:1) and put it in a piping bag. Remove the remaining three stem and leaf shapes from the stencil, align it with the board and fill the openings. Add leaf veins with a small brush if desired.
- Attach sunflowers: Once dry, glue the relief sunflowers in position.
- Flower colors: After the glue dries, use a large brush with #3 for petals, #4 for the flower bases and #5 for the centers. Vary mixtures of #3 + #4 and #4 + #5 to enrich the centers.
