English painting steps
- Background: Mix #22 with quartz sand (1:1). Spread the background with the back of a palette knife. Let dry before continuing.
- White background layer: Mix #2 with quartz sand (1:1). Spread a white area across the middle with the back of a palette knife. Keep the left thicker and gradually thin toward the right, or create your own effect.
- Position roses: Remove the flower shapes from the stencil and align it with the board to position the relief roses and buds. Glue them firmly onto the background.
- Rose colors: Mix #22 with quartz sand (1:1). Paint the relief roses with a large brush.
- Buds: Mix #22 with quartz sand (1:1). Paint the rosebuds.
- Stems and leaves: Remove the stem and leaf shapes from the stencil and align it with the board. With a small brush and #14, paint through the openings. Paint the leafy bases beneath the buds too.
